Shotgun Sports May 8, 2010

Another one day outing to receive professional instruction in the safe handling of shotguns from NRA instructor and Palo Alto Police Officer, Jeff Patane. We’ll cover the clay target shooting sports of both trap and skeet, including some of the fundamental techniques for achieving high scores. Many of the prerequisites for the Shotgun Sports Merit Badge will be covered, and scouts who attended the similar outing last December will have the opportunity to complete their merit badge requirements.

Troop 57 Service Day April 25, 2010

Come help with native plant restoration at Palo Alto’s own Baylands. We’ll meet at the Sailing Station at 12:00 on April 25 to assist the Parks and Recreation Rangers with projects to restore native plants and remove invasive species. Pizza will be provided.
