Annual Russian River Canoe Excursion (Sept 12-13)

posted Aug 14, 2015, 6:32 AM by Vivek Sharma
It's time to sign up for one of Troop 57's most classic trips, our Annual Russian River Canoe Excursion. We camp overnight in Sonoma County in order to get on the river early Sunday. We will once again have an optional Zip Lining trip on Saturday afternoon. Sign-up now - as this is always one of most popular trips of the year and it fills up quickly. The river is quite pretty and this is an easy and fun canoe trip. No prior experience needed and all beginners are welcome. Each canoe will have two rowers. There are no major rapids, although there are occasional fast areas where the river narrows or has sharp turns. Our regular 4-6 hour float trip is approximately 11 miles long.
