posted Nov 7, 2011, 11:59 PM by Vivek Sharma   [ updated Jan 6, 2012, 8:36 PM ]

On November 13th, our troop will hike an historic route through three camps used by Peninsula scouts over the past century. We will begin at the Cutter Scout Camp, and then travel back in time to Camp Pomponio (which was temporarily converted to jail in the 1970's) before ending in Memorial Park, the site of Pescadero Camp. This will be the first group of Troop 57 scouts to go on this outing. The route will fulfill the requirements for a ten-mile hike for the Hiking merit badge. See attached flyer for more information. Sign up by sending an email to either me or Jon Mewes (meweserp@yahoo.com).
