Scouts plant flags in Golden Gate Cemetery

Every year on Memorial Day weekend, Troop 57 joins dozens of Boy and Girl Scout troops from around the Bay Area in Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Francisco to commemorate the lives and service of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Scouts are encouraged to join this year's grave site decorating service project on May 26 and flag removal service project on June 2. Please note both events are class "A" uniform functions. Please wear your scout shirt, neckerchief, slider, pants, belt and socks.
