On September 6 – 7, Patrol 401 had its outing at Joseph D. Grant Park. We were all surprised by a huge campsite that we had all to ourselves. Throughout the day, we did a variety of things, including signing off on requirements, exploring the area, and more. We had some amazing cooks, and we had a lot more food than we initially anticipated. All the new and old scouts got to bond and learn more about each other through teaching one another, as well as cooking and cleaning together. At night, there was an overload of flies in the air, but it just made our trip even more memorable.
