On June 22nd, a ten-mile hike was led by Lina Bahbah. The hike was relatively challenging, with an elevation gain of 2000 feet. Everybody was exhausted by the end of it, but everyone who was there made some lasting memories. All the hikers ate lunch on the trail, and they found a log that was perfect for everyone to be able to rest their legs on. The hike was led in Huddart County Park, and they hiked the Lonely Trail to Richards Road Loop and added the Dean Trail to the Crystal Spring Trail to make it 10 miles for the Hiking Merit Badge requirement. A ton of scouts used this hike to not only gain experience, but also to complete requirements. Overall, it was a memorable hike, and everyone enjoyed it.
