On 12/7, we spent the morning at Bear Creek Redwoods Preserve for a conservation outing. We helped remove French broom, an invasive plant that harms the local ecosystem. Each participant pulled out more than 100 weeds on average!
After the work was done, we enjoyed a nature walk and a snack prepared by the amazing staff from Grassroots Ecology. It was a fun and meaningful day of service and learning.
