Our troop is 100% virtual at this time. Execution of eagle projects must be done with no gatherings. If work can be distributed virtually, that is okay, and service hours will be logged and tracked in the Events Tracker Sheet (link on line 13)
As for signing an informed consent and waiver in Jumbula – our leaders with detailed knowledge of the project should use their best judgement. Most projects being done at home right now will not need a waiver. An example where a waiver might be warranted – the project requires a scout to use a power tool at their house, and we want to make sure that the parents are informed and have agreed to the scout’s participation which requires use of the power tool.
