“I truly enjoyed this fall term’s involvement as a Den Chief. The first meeting I attended was the Pack meeting, along with the other Den Chiefs we helped out with the flag ceremony and wrapped up the night with super creative, chaotic, but funny skits. Throughout the term, I showed up to help out Den 5 Webelo II cub scouts, an energetic bunch. I assisted in many of the den meetings involving engaging activities to teach and to have fun. I remember the time the Webelos were making their first den flags, and they were having so much fun drawing the mascots that I didn’t even want to tell them that it looked less like a dragon and more like a chicken. Being a Den Chief has brought me so many opportunities to lead, and I am beyond lucky to work with such an amazing group of kids.” – Julie
