Hi Everyone, the patrol meeting reports for many previous meetings have been collected, but I haven’t posted them to the website before. So here are the reports for the 3/17 patrol meetings:
Patrol 1:
We said the pledge of allegiance, scout oath, scout law, and outdoor code. Then we went over announcements and talked about how Beck Lyons could finish his cooking merit badge by placing food he cooked for us at the scout house. We also played codenames
Attendance: Bill Cui, Robert Cui, Jack Shingal, Turner McFarland, Zachary Thom, Beck Lyons, Luke Ni, Mason lee
Patrol 2:
The patrol meeting started at 7:00 P.M. We started with a slow trickle of scouts coming in. First we talked about school while waiting for others to come. We then talked about the Safety Afloat tips. Finally, we tried to play Skyfall, but everyone got confused and we all just gave up. We played Scribble.io instead. We ended the meeting at 8:00 PM
Attendance: The adults who came were Roger Lee and Eric Ledgerwood. The scouts who came were Justin Lee, Chase Wong, Trevor MIlne, Nathan Lee, Brady Blanding, David Campbell, Cedar Ledgerwood, Kai Mirchandani, Eddie Ling, and Aiden Son.
Patrol 3:
Agenda: Flags, Announcements, First Year Skills, Fun Stuff
Summary: The meeting started at 7:00 and Neel opened the meeting by calling on people for the scout oath, scout law, and outdoor code. Then, Neel gave announcements about the upcoming troop outings, recent service projects, and completing merit badges. After that, we moved on to first year skills. We practiced lashings, so everyone gathered a few suitable sticks and ropes from their house and we reviewed the lashings with our first years. After that, we played skribbl.io as a patrol to finish out the meeting.

Patrol 4:

Patrol 6:
Philmont:Edwin gave a presentation about Philmont scout camp. Announcements:We watched a video about the red rope challenge, in which you learn a lot of knots and how to do them quickly.We talked about what to do next for the Safety merit badge. We plan another campout for next month. The date is April 16. Eagle court of honor March 28. Next troop meeting: California search and rescue presentation
