On Wednesday 3/31, Troop 57 had our patrol meetings. Here are the reports.
Patrol 1
What we did:We went over flags and talked about our patrol outing. Our patrol decided on having the camp out this saterday and suneday. We planned to have Daniel do a presentation on different types of sleeping bags. Then we played scatagorys for the rest of the zoom session.

Patrol 2:
The meeting started at 7 pm on 3/31. On 7:10, the meeting flags and announcements happened. By 7:20, we started on a game of scribble.io about swim defense and Luther scout vocabulary. Finally, we ended on a fun 2d shooter that I cannot recall the name of.

Summary
We started the meeting with the scout oath, scout law, and outdoor code. Then, our patrol leader, Neel, talked about upcoming virtual outings, service projects, a possible patrol outing, and merit badge events. After the announcements, I (Alex) taught the first years how to tie a sheet bend knot for the EDGE life rank requirement. All of the first years present were able to tie the knot despite the difficulties of virtual teaching. We then reviewed the knots from the previous meeting which included lashings, clove hitch, and timber hitch. Finally, we played games online together to end the meeting.

Patrol 5:
Summary We did Scout Oath, Law, and pledge of allegiance. After this, we discussed the possibility of an in-person activity and the date is to be determined, a survey will be sent out to determine the date so look out for that.

Patrol 6:
Announcements: Next patrol campout April 16th.BOR on April 20th. Guest Speaker: Mr. Livacich talked about the Safety Merit Badge requirement 3. Scout Skills: Tayton taught the group what to do when a victim has a snakebite. Presentations: Zachary and Jacob gave a presentation about people with disabilities.
